FNwF aka Friday Night with Friends

Well I finally got to get some stitching in on Friday night....and I am continuing on today.

I am a little more than half way done with the quilting of the blocks, then I have the binding to do.

My plan is to have this done before the end of the year.....so I have to get at least one block plus part of a second block done every day.

While I am stitching I am listening to a book in the Outlander series on CD that I borrowed from the library.

It is snowing like crazy here, and has been doing so all day, so it is a great day to be inside stitching.

Word for the Year 2017

This past year has been hectic with quite a few changes that, truthfully, I had not expected.

I do not do well with change.  It messes with my mind.

There are and will be more changes coming. . . . nothing concrete yet, but I can read the "tea leaves" so I did some hard thinking about what I want (and where I want to be) in the coming year.

We have too much stuff in this house...and, as I have said in previous posts, I have more than I could use in my life time.

Other things that I plan on downsizing are my commitments to others.  Mainly I am talking about swaps.  I have a habit of getting involved in too many swaps.  This year I don't plan on getting into a large number of swaps.

I am going to do the Bee Hive swap .. The link to Blossom Heart Quilts is in the highlighted words.  I was not picked for the Stash Bee for a second year, but that works to my benefit.

I have also signed up for Cheryll's Valentine Initial Heart swap.  It is only a one time swap so it will be easy to get done.

Other than that I have no other swaps....just link ups for completion goals and some "no pressure" stitch-a-longs that sound like they will help me get my creative juices going.

So, downsizing is the goal, and word, for the year.
