Would this bug you?

Well, one of the "thorns" in my side is gone. I've finally paid off the dental bill from DH.

Don't get me wrong. . . I **love** our dentist. . . but it just irked me every month to make the payment since we both have dental insurance but we couldn't even get 1/2 of the bill covered.

In many ways it doesn't make sense for me to carry insurance on either myself or DH since my deductibles are so high. . . and so are the co-pays. . . that if we were just covered by his insurance we could save so much more money.

Oh well, without my insurance we would still be in debt for some minor surgery that I needed. . .so I guess I have to take the good with the bad.

But I'm sure glad that one of the thorns is gone. . . .just have 3 more to work on.

This blog will be changing

Not that I need to complicate my life any more than it already is. . . but I will be changing the direction of this blog to more yarn oriented postings.

With the number of groups that I am involved in it has gotten a bit hard to try to keep all the posts up-to-date. . . .so this blog will start covering more of the crochet and knitting projects that I am in & I have started another blog that will be just quilt and fabric projects.

If you are a friend please send a comment (and make sure that you are set to receive replies) with how you & I know each other and I will advise you of the address for the new blog.

Hopefully this will confound the troll and I will have some peace in my days.

Out of the Darkness, Into the Light

I had taken this blog "private" due to an internet Troll. If you are not familiar with that term here is a description from www.wisegeek.com:

An Internet troll is someone who posts offensive, controversial, or divisive material on an Internet community. Trolls are an unfortunately common occurrence on many communities across the Internet, and there are various steps which can be taken to combat them. If you are currently struggling with an Internet troll, the best thing to do is to walk away, since trolls feed on attention, and they will usually disappear if they are ignored.

I had thought to take off the comment moderation on my posts so that everyone could see the attempts of this person. . . with all the incorrectly spelled words, nonexistent punctuation, weird rantings and grammar that is worse than that of my almost 5 year old nephew.

However, I do not want to subject my friends to this repugnant waste of time.

Should I decide to pursue any actions against this troll (which, of course, is what they are trying to get me to do) there are at least 3 charges that could be pursued, according to a criminal attorney I have contacted.

Starting off the New Year right. . . .

I've logged my goals on my sidebar. . . and hopefully I will be able to cross many of them off before the end of this year.

I've made a start. . . .I had an afghan UFO that I started prior to getting married (that was 4 years ago) and I worked on it a bit yesterday. . . .it should be completed shortly since I am making it as a sofa throw so the length just needs to be a bit longer.

As with every new year, I'm off to a great start. . . . just have to keep up the momentum.
