I have been home all week due to this pneumonia that I just can not kick. This is, hopefully, the last time that I will lose from work --- but that depends on what the doctor says later this week when I go back for my latest re-check.
So, that is the frazzled part. . . . it is driving me nuts that I am home but just do not have the energy to do anything --- and I would really like to get some housework done.
I did get some laundry done --- once down the stairs to load the washer, wait for that to get done & then place the wash in the dryer and 2nd load in the washer. Then it is back upstairs for a while.
While in the basement I get so tired. . . of looking at the clutter. Unfortuately, most of the clutter on "my" side of the baseement is fabric, yarn, books and patterns. And there is absolutely no rhyme or reason to how I have stuff stored (mostly because of the multiple floods)!
I have started to fold up the "excess" fabric that haven't made it to a tote box. . . so that has helped a bit.
My latest dilemna is that I can't decide whether I should be working on kits, UFO's, new projects (to use up the fabric) or what I should be doing. Part of me is just saying that I should just get rid of all the fabric that I have not yet cut to free up room and then work on the kits and UFO's that I have without feeling so guilty about the amount of fabric I have.
But then I start thinking of how much I've spent on all that fabric and I can't justify just "dumping" the fabric.
So, that is where I am at right at this time. . . . . how do you decide what to work on?
Great suggestions for organizing would be appreciated as well.

Rather than overwhelm yourself even more - babysteps! One UFO, One Kit, One new project and keep them in respective labeled containers. Each time you go into your cluttered area - sort a little. Put those UFOs in one spot. Put those kits in another. Start sorting, refolding new fabrics into color order for easier view. But do it a little at a time. As you clear a kit or UFO out (once a month) there will be more order. Baby steps!
